Deep purple

I love this deep, but not too dark, purple color. It is by Color Club, N.886 Ms Socialite. Gorgeous, creamy, applies well and dries fast.
I would be happy to have it alone on my nails, but I decided to go for a french manicure instead. So I added some one stroke flowers on 3 of each hand's nails (thumb, middle and ringfinger).

I started with the french manicure, spread some iridesent glitter at the tip, sealed and painted the flowers using purple and white. I added the outlines and minibeads (mostly gold, but with a few silver ones as well, because they were mixed by a small accident..)

Lately, I find myself trying out nail polish on pebbles, so some of these pebbles become matching rings. This color and nailart was definately going to have one!

Green leopard print

I decided to show some nail designs that can easily be done with nail polish and tools we can find in the house. The first one would be animal print, of course..

I started with a beautiful green/petrol color by Erre Due, made my pattern with a metallic beige, almost gold color, from the same brand. Both were very opaque, and dried fast. I filed one side of a toothpick to make it almost round, and used it as a 2-way dotting tool:) I carved the line with the toothpick and made the leopard outlines.

We went with the kids to the playground, where I also found some flat pebbles, so I decided to make a matching ring, too!

I have to say this was the most fun part of it all..  The tutorial is already uploaded on my channel, if you like to see it, click here.

Here are the items I used:
Erre Due N. 468 "Accidental" - Erre Due/Mirror effect N.999 - Black polish (it didn't have code or name), and, of course, the toothick.

Think pink - October/breast cancer awareness month

Here is a design that is very easy to do, using pink polish, stamping plate, some microbeads and a pink 3d ribbon. If I didn't have the powders for 3d, I would definately try using a real ribbon and some nail glue:)

The message is simple: get informed, perform self exams monthly, have regular mammograms. If it is detected early, breast cancer can be faught.. and winned.
