Simple pedicure with stamped roses

I use a lot of stamping on my pedicures. This image plate had 2 roses, so I had to stamp it twice and add a couple of leaves with acrylic paint. The base color is a beautiful coral by Color Club. The stamping plate is by Naio.

And here is my 7yrs old daughter's similar pedi :D

Swatches: Zoya - PixieDust - Liberty

I LOVE this polish!!! I was a little sceptical about the textured polishes, but this one has an awesome effect! It is matt, but at the same time super sparkly, and the depth of the color is amazing! You can see the texture, feel it, but not on a level that will cause any discomfort, it is not rough to the touch.

Here are 2 layers, I could stop at 2, it was already opaque, but I wanted to see if it got darker :) It did go, deeper!

The color looks a bit different, depending on the light, and offers some reflections that look greenish under artificial light. It is always a blue that you will love, not turqoise or anything close, but I bet you'll catch yourself staring at your nails a little bit more often..

Oh, you are NOT supposed to wear base coat. You go from a well preped nail directly to applying the first coat of polish, let it completely dry (about 10min.), and go on with a second layer. No need for topcoat, either, if you want to keep this texture.

I will try to add some pictures under artificial light as well:)

Cool Jade

The name was bporrowed from this lovely green polish by MaxFactor (the minies). I added a little sparkle from INM Out The Door "Northern Lights" and a few rhinestones, then did my accent nail with white, same sparkle and black acrylic paint. I loved the way it came out.

Of course it could be done with stamping, dots or lines, any black and white would make a lovely accent nail, but I thought I could have some fun, and made an abstract pattern instead.

(I filmed it on short nails, because I honestly believe that it looks very beautiful, plus, it wasn't supposed to make a tutorial in the first place, I had no time..)

The green polish stained my nails, though. That was a little strange, I don't remember having this problem with any other polish, and I always use basecoat..

Valley of butterflies

Many visitors come in Rhodes to enjoy nature's beauty and see the butterflies in millions, staying still and covering entire trees. Butterflies have to keep their energy during this final stage, so visitors are requested to keep quit and not disturb them. Any noise may force them to fly away, consuming their last energy resourses, and cause their early death..

The amazing thing about it, is that they are everywhere..! Perfect weather conditions and place offer butterflies and guests a must-go destination.

I saw a picture shared by a facebook friend and nail artist from Rhodes, Katerina Atsa, and I was totally inspired. So I tried to make my butterflies everywhere but, as in real valley of butterflies, becoming one with the background. I hope you like it..
